This week Inghams won the first ever Silver-i Award at the prestigious Silver Travel Awards ceremony held at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
The Silver-i Award recognises a travel company that has excelled at delivering an idea, innovation or initiative to mature travellers. Inghams was recognised for their outstanding work promoting e-biking with their new e-biking programme in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Kitzbühel forms part of the world’s biggest e-biking region and Inghams is now offering a bespoke guided e-biking programme there to help guests discover it.’
The Inghams e-biking program in Kitzbühel includes five guided rides per week with professional guides. Each tour lasts approximately 3 hours and are suitable for cyclists of varying abilities. Prices start at €39 per ride and include your e-bike, guide and a helmet.

The award was decided by an esteemed panel of travel experts. The judges’ vote were tied and the award was jointly given to Inghams and Personal Touch Holidays. The award was presented to Inghams by John Suchet, the renowned broadcaster on Classic FM. Today, the trophy is proudly on display in the Inghams Head Office in Godalming, Surrey.
